Dear Friends in Christ,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We thank the Lord for you and deeply appreciate your faithful prayers and financial support for us and the work in Mexico.
Susie and I are doing well and are in pretty good health. Susie deals with her arthritic knees and foot every day but God’s grace sees her through each day. My kidney issues are stable, and the matricula degeneration and glaucoma in my eyes has not advanced. PTL! I did tear the cartilage in my left knee doing some yard work, but a cane and knee brace helps with that.
We praise the Lord for the work He is doing in the lives of the people in the churches. They are growing in the faith, witnessing, and serving God. The result is that the families are stronger, and the churches are growing. Several of the churches before celebrating Friend Day were knocking on doors and inviting people to the special services. At least 26 souls trusted Christ as their Savior and several committed to being baptized!
Two big events are coming up in April. We will be organizing another work. It is in Garcia and pastored by Samuel Martinez Jr. whose dad pastors our main church Iglesia Bautista Trinidad (Trinity B.C.). The second event will be the celebration of Día de Los Niños (Childrens’ Day). It’s a big deal here and a lot of opportunity to reach out to parents who bring their kids to these events.
Then we will be gearing up for Mother’s Day in May. Thank you so much for your prayers and giving. May God bless you all.
