Dear praying friends,
Thank you for your continued prayers and support for us. Amber was able to have a great ladies meeting around Valentines day, which was a blessing to the ladies that came. It has been neat to see the ladies in the church excited to fellowship and learn more about the Lord together. A couple have even stepped up to help Amber with some ministry, which has been a blessing to her. Our Sunday morning attendance has been growing since the beginning of the new year and we have been looking at new buildings to move the church in to. We have recently put offers on two different buildings, but we are still waiting for God to open the right door. It seems like the few commercial spaces available are very volatile and ever changing. Please pray with us for this need of a larger building. We are having families ask for kids programs, and its already challenging at times having seven kids under five each Sunday morning when our one little room is so packed. Pray for us this Easter as we try holding two morning services to help facilitate the need for more space. We have had a few people recently ask if we have an addictions ministry. The need here is great, and we are praying God will allow us to better minister to this community. We would appreciate your prayers as we seek the Lord regarding starting an addictions ministry as well.
There is a huge need for a Spanish ministry here. We had a young lady visit last Sunday who just moved here from Mexico. She used google translator to listen to the message. Praise the Lord for the technology we have now, as she was able to understand the Gospel message. Since we have
many Latinos in our congregation, she enjoyed the fellowship after church as well and came back again this Sunday! We are praying that God will allow us to start a Spanish ministry and that He would bring someone to translate for us soon. The harvest is ready!
We are excited to announce that we are expecting another little girl to join our family in September! Please pray for Amber and the baby during the pregnancy. It has been a big adjustment with two girls in our apartment, and we are excited but nervous to add another little one in to the mix!
