Thank you for your faithful prayers for our family. Our last meeting is scheduled for May 7th, and we are currently filling out paperwork for the Certificate of Sponsorship to get our reference number. According to our sponsor, if we submit our CoS paperwork around 4/1, and our Visa paperwork by 6/1, then we should receive our necessary approvals by the end of July. We are looking at flights to fly out on July 25th, but we will not be purchasing the tickets until we obtain our sponsorship reference number. It’s an exciting time for our family, and we praise the Lord for bringing us to this point.
We have had a great start to the year with decisions being made during altar calls at our meetings. There was one man that had been praying about the call to preach, and during the preaching that day, the Lord solidified that in his heart. It’s been a blessing to hear how God has been working in his life since, and he will be coming on staff as an assistant to the Pastor later this month. Others have surrendered to do whatever God’s will is for their lives. Praise the Lord!
While back in OKC for a few days, our realtor from 2018 happened to stop by our house to drop off some of his updated brochures. A friend of mine at BethHaven had been inviting him to church, but he had never come. It was not a coincidence for him to stop by ten minutes before we left for a meeting. I told him about the “Friend Sunday” BethHaven was having that weekend, and invited him to come. That Sunday he came, and he’s been back several times since. Please pray for him to be saved.
Prayer Requests:
- Pray for the Bible studies with James in the UK, and that the Lord would grant him wisdom to discern and reject false doctrine.
- Pray for our safety on the road, and for our car to continue running well.
- Pray that the Lord would use us to minister to the churches we visit.
- Pray for our family’s health.
