Dear Praying Friends,
Much has happened over the past month in regards to our visas. Several different scenarios have been discussed now that the door has shut with our previous sponsor. The Lord has opened the door for us to move forward with Bro. Kent Gossmeyer and Liskeard Baptist Church being our sponsor. Liskeard Baptist Church was able to get charitable status approval in record time. It should have taken sixty days, but the approval was processed in less than two weeks. That was step one. Step two is in progress and that involves meeting at least four requirements to get sponsorship status. Originally it was thought the church needed to own a building, but that is not the case. Praise the Lord! They can move forward with the current facility rented.
Please pray for our meeting with the sponsorship advisor June 8th. If the advisor agrees that all necessary marks have been met and the paperwork is in order, then Liskeard Baptist Church will submit the paperwork for an expedited approval on June 9th or June 12th. We appreciate your continued prayers for a positive response to our request for sponsorship. We’re excited to see what God has in store through this change of plans for us to enter and remain in England.
There are many other missionary families being affected by what has taken place. Please pray specifically for the Grissom’s who should hear a response soon on Bro. Wayne’s Indefinite Leave to Remain. The work there in Plymouth needs your prayers, and our hearts desire is to see Lighthouse Baptist Church continue on.
