Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you for your faithful prayers for our family regarding our sponsorship. In our last letter, we mentioned that we would be pursuing sponsorship through Liskeard Baptist Church in Liskeard, UK. We have received word that they have been approved to sponsor us into England. There were some difficulties along the way, but thankfully they received approval, and we know that it was a result of your continued prayers. Ephesians 3:20 has been a great reminder to us of all that our Lord can do.
Now that the ability to sponsor has been given, we are moving forward to the next step. August 8, 2023 we have a meeting scheduled with our immigration advisor to assist Liskeard Baptist Church with the issuing of our Certificate of Sponsorship and the filing of our visa applications. Please pray we are able to receive our Certificate of Sponsorship without any issues, and that we are able to receive a swift and favorable response for our visas.
We are planning on a departure date of September 19, 2023. Please pray for us to find good deals on shipping and flights overseas, as well as household items and other items needed for setup. We have an AirBnb booked for the first two months after our arrival to give us time to find a place to rent. Please pray we can find and secure a suitable home for our family in or near Saltash, UK within the first month of our arrival.

- Shane had the opportunity to preach VBS at Beth Haven Baptist Church, and several accepted Christ as Savior. The bus ministry has seen an increase in riders, and there are parents we are following up with that came as well.
- We are making progress on repairs for our RV. Pray we can sell the RV before leaving for England.
