Timeless or trendy? Trends come and go, but churches should feel timeless. With the forceful current of constant change sweeping over every part of our lives, people have the need to connect with something enduring and firm. We believe Christ designed the church to fulfill that need by representing an eternal kingdom and ageless truth with no need to imitate the culture. We want you to know that there’s still a church that feels like a church. It won’t feel like a rock concert, comedy club, or motivational seminar. It’s not old-fashioned, as in 50 years ago. It is timeless, as in 2000 years ago.
Come visit Cornerstone Baptist Church this Sunday!
Our services are typically between 60-75 minutes in length.
Our music is based upon the truth that music was created to magnify God through our praise. You will find that we primarily have a hymn-based music program, rather than following the cultural trends of music. We primarily use hymns not because we are “old-fashioned”, but because we desire to sing songs that cause us to think right thoughts about God. Though we sing hymns, the traditional music at Cornerstone Baptist is alive and well.
No. We don’t invite you to Cornerstone Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a blessing to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
There is not a dress code at Cornerstone Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Cornerstone Baptist!
We use the King James Version for all our teaching and preaching. While we strive to have the right stance on this issue, we also seek to have a gracious spirit about it. To learn more about what we believe about this issue, click here.
