Dear brother Pastor and Church,

We want to greet you with a Bible verse that touched our hearts and reminded us of the importance of our investment in spiritual things. This investment is the best investment because it has a eternal reward in Heaven. The verse is from 1 Peter 4:10 “As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” We pray that every gift that we received in our life, through the Holy Spirit to use, to invest in serving others and share the Gospel to every man.

The last two moths were blessed months for our ministry. God blessed us with two baptisms services. At the end of May we had the fist baptism service in which we baptized two ladies and a teenage boy. The church was in Severin was almost full. We were glad to see a lot of visitors which came to see their friends being baptized. Among this visitors were also the husbands of the two ladies that got baptized. Please pray for them that they will open their hearts for the Gospel and receive Christ as their personal Saviour. Please pray for the testimony of all three new believers to have an impact in their homes.

The second baptism service was at the beginning of this month. We baptized an 84 old lady. She is the mother of Melania, one of the cooks from Manna Feeding center from Rogova. We are amazed to see again, and again the power and the greatness of the grace of God. Sister Ana was the most resistant and against the idea of repenting and changing her orthodox religion. When Melania, her daughter in law was baptized 11 years ago, she kicked her out of the house with her small daughters. After a couple of days she accepted Melaina back in the house. Good decision! For 11 years Melania could be a testimony for her, and now she decided to follow Christ. How amazing is God’s Grace!

At the beginning of this week we have started the VBS program in the church of Rogova. We were excited to see 70 children on the first day of VBS. We had Bible lessons for them, we had a special time of worship (we were excited to see that they remembered all the songs), we played games outside and of course we prepared for them popcorn, cotton candy, hot dogs and pizza. They were so excited to be together after a long time of COVID restrictions. Please pray for them and for their families.

We are also planing a VBS program in Lupșa and Severin. Also we are planing a youth camp at the end of this month. Because of the COVID restrictions we are planing a small camp, around 30 persons. The cost for one person is $80. This will include the transportation and the food for five days. We pray that God will provide the necessary funds for this camp.

We want to thank you for all you do for His kingdom. We are so blessed to have you by our side in these difficult times. We want to thank you for all your prayers and support without you we will not be able to do what we do. You are in our prayers and in our hearts. We love you all.

With all our love in Christ,

Rica and Cathy Gonciulea Your missionaries to Romania
