Gonciulea Family to Romania

Dear brother Pastor and Church,

“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” By His grace we entered in a new year. God is good all the time and all the time God is good! We are looking forward to this new year to experience new blessings, new opportunities to serve the Lord and new people to meet and to share the Gospel.

As usual the month of December was a busy month. My daughter Becky with Tabita prepared the kids Christmas program. They prepared a Christmas skit with the older ones, a musical program with the little ones and two songs played with the bells. Also we invited the children from the AWANA program and their parents to the church and they sang two Christmas carols. Another Sunday we had a Christmas concert with the mandolin orchestra. This year we included the new students that have learned how to play the mandolin. They were excited but also nervous to play in front of a big crowd, but they did very well. I am thankful for their faithfulness and hard work they put in to learn this musical instrument.

On the Christmas Eve we went caroling in Severin. We had a lot of young families that brought their children with them. We had a group of 25 people. We sang on the streets and also for friends of the families that came with us. It was a great opportunity to share the good news and to make new connections, for more opportunities to share the Gospel.

On New Year’s Eve we spent time with the church. We met at 6 pm and had a service until 8 pm and after that we had dinner together at church. It was a great time of fellowship, fun and games. At midnight we had a prayer time asking the Lord to lead us in the New Year.

In January we had the AWANA Store. Your generosity was a huge blessing for the children from the two AWANA Clubs. They could buy cool gadgets, toys, clothes, school supplies and a lot of candies with their AWANA points. Now they are even more motivated to invite their friends to AWANA and also to learn all the Bible verses. Thank you for everything you have done for them!

About Ukraine, the tensions produced by war are still present. It`s been almost a year since this war has started and it is harder and harder for the people from Ukraine to live their lives in the war zone. We want to thank you for your generosity for towards their needs. Because of your generosity we were able to send supplies and Christian literature worth over $135,000.00. What a blessing! I was thinking, if the Russians invaded Ukraine with tanks, through you, God invaded Ukraine with His Saving Grace.

I want to thank you for your faithfulness. I am so blessed to have you by my side in these difficult times. I want to thank you for all your prayers and support. You are in my prayers and in my heart.

With love in Christ,
Rica Gonciulea
