Rex and Jan Harmon to Jamaica

Brothers & Sister in Christ:

Your prayers have been effective! The neighborhood is still tense, but the wars aren’t raging. The area is beginning to calm down and a few of the children now visit the playground. Sunday services and Ladies Bible Study are picking up in attendance.

Bro. Franklyn Jacques is doing great in the adult Bible class, he has them memorizing scripture and understanding how their lives should be surrendered so they can be effective.

Bro. Jacques and I share the preaching responsibilities on Sundays. He has not returned to visiting the neighborhood with me as yet. Neighborhood visits are always tough and met with much spiritual resistance. Please pray for our encouragement and safety as we witness. I have also been discouraged as I witness in the parish of St. Thomas, I am trying to get a men’s Bible study going there. For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries. (1 Corinthians 16:9)

My diabetes is causing some concern as my numbers have been creeping up, so prayers for my physical health are appreciated as well.

Isaiah 55:7,
Bro. Rex
