Eustace and Tracie Kariuki to Kenya

Dear Pastor and Cornerstone Baptist Church,

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee; because he trusteth in thee.” Isaiah 26:3 It is the character of every Christian that if he trusts in God, puts himself under His guidance and depends upon Him, that this shall be greatly to his advantage. Those that trust in God must have their minds stayed upon Him. They must trust Him at all times under all circumstances, must firmly and faithfully adhere to Him with an entire satisfaction in Him, and in doing so, God will keep them in perpetual peace and that peace shall keep them.

Our scheduled return back to Kenya at the end of May hit a snag. In the process of the doctor figuring out that the reason for the immense pain in my knee was not due to physical damage but for another reason, he sent more vials of my blood to the Mayo clinic for a second opinion. The results are back and we have another appointment at the end of this month with the doctor to discuss a way forward. We are praying for God to give wisdom to the doctors to get this figured out so we can get back to the field. While waiting for the doctors, we have been staying busy helping at our home church with the outreach programs, teaching Sunday school, and I have been blessed to preach a couple of times. We are thankful that after 2 weeks Tracie seems to be recovering from her really bad cold and cough.

We are still raising money for the church property. The Lord has now blessed us with $96,000 which is pretty much half of the amount needed. We do have a few other promises that have not come in yet. We know that this is truly God’s doing and He will provide the remaining funds in His perfect timing. If the Lord leads you to give toward this need, kindly send the checks addressed to Central Missionary Clearinghouse with a note stating for Eustace Kariuki – Kenya – church property.

We love you all and thank you for your continued prayers and support!

Serving Him,
Eustace and Tracie Kariuki
