Eustace and Tracie Kariuki to Kenya

Dear Pastor and Cornerstone Baptist Church,

Psalm 121:1-3 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy feet to be moved; he that keepeth thee will not slumber.” This is such a beautiful Psalm that is a constant reminder of how God takes care of His own children. I am constantly drawn by the words, “ helper, keeper, and preserver”. Our God does not change. He is our helper, our keeper, and He will preserve us for evermore no matter what life throws at us.

It has been a busy last two months. We have enjoyed being more involved in our home/sending church while we are here. I had the joy of preaching and starting off the Missions month. We met some new missionary families which our church added to their missionary family. It was a challenging Missions month. We have also stayed busy with doctor’s appointments. In our previous letter we mentioned that Tracie will be seeing an allergy specialist. The Lord gave us a kind and caring doctor who will be testing her for allergens in Kenya and here in Oklahoma. Her testing will be taking place this week. Then we will see what needs to be done concerning her test results. I also have my appointment with immigration this week to take my naturalization test. We are praising the Lord for this as it will help us in the future.

I will be flying next week to Kenya to teach some courses in the Bible college which we help with. While I am there, I will also be checking on Tracie’s ID as well as meeting with the owner of the property we are looking to purchase for the church plant. The Lord continues to bless the property fund. He has given us 54% of the total needed for the property. If the Lord leads you to give towards this project, kindly send any checks to Central Missionary Clearinghouse and indicate for Church Property with our names. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!

Serving Him,
Eustace and Tracie Kariuki
