Dear Pastor and Cornerstone Baptist Church,
Psalm 2:11 “Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.” When we watch the news
and read the newspapers, many times we are left to wonder who is in charge? There is a lot of craziness going on in the world right now. People in charge seem like they are out of control. It is important to remember that God is still in control. The begotten Son Jesus Christ is coming back to rule and reign. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Let us keep trusting in Him.
The last two months have been very busy in the life and ministry of our church here in Kenya. As required we are in the process of registering the church with the government. The church unanimously voted to change the name from Faith Baptist Church to Westside Baptist Church. This will help prevent confusion from all the other hundreds of Faith Baptist Churches when inviting people to church.
Over the last several weeks we have been blessed with salvations in the church. Because of that I have started a discipleship class in the church. Lord willing, we will soon have a website for the church and ministry here and you will be able to get on and see what the Lord is doing on this side of the world.
We had also asked for your prayers regarding the remaining funds for purchasing the church property. We are inching closer to the goal. We are still in need of $16,000 to reach that goal. If the Lord leads you to give towards this need, kindly make the check out to Central Missionary Clearinghouse and designate as Church Property.
