Orricks to Wales

This past month was an absolute brr and blur! Like many of you, we too had a very cold month as the temps dropped below freezing and stayed there for several days, which was very much out of the ordinary for us. Despite the weather, life and ministry kept us warm as we chased the days of December.

To start off the month, the youth from our church met up with another youth group from a Baptist church in Colwyn Bay for a fun filled evening of laser tag and Burger King! The activity was very well attended and the kids had a great time together.

Another exciting event that took place this past month was our children’s Nativity play. This was the first time we were able to have one since COVID. The youth took turns with the narration and the children acted out the parts as well as sang several songs. The service was very well attended and many of the visiting friends and family heard a very clear presentation of the Gospel.

Christmas weekend was a busy and blessed weekend as well. On the Eve of Christmas, we held our annual Candlelight Carol Service and on Christmas Day, we had a morning service. Both services were once again very well attended.

The day after Christmas, which is known as Boxing Day here, we were blessed to celebrate our daughter, Bella’s, 15th birthday.

To wrap up the month and welcome in a new year, we were encouraged to have Kevin and Stacey Adams, along with their two oldest daughters, Adrian and Addison, visit us. This family of six was recently approved as BBFI Career Missionaries and they are in the process of raising their financial support to be able to come over as soon as possible to be a part of and learn from our ministry. We are so excited to see how the Lord has made all this possible and we are looking forward to having their help with all the growing needs. Please pray for their safety and support as they make their way around the USA.

As we wrap up this letter, we want to give praise to our Lord and Saviour for the 28 saved and 14 baptized over the course of this past year! Praise the Lord!

Happy New Year and thank you for your faithful support! Richie, Missy, Briton, and Isabella ‌
