Orricks to Wales

This past month was highlighted with our very first cruise, more souls saved, and many more being discipled. Let’s fill you in on all the details.

To start things off, we had another great Friday Youth Night with over 20 youth in attendance. The night was filled with food, a message from the Word of God, and games. Please pray for a girl named Macey, who has been coming and is unsaved.

From there, we kicked off our “I Love My Church” month with our first ever, “all inclusive” cruise. The first service set sail with a complete nautical makeover of the chapel and a tropical themed feast. Those in attendance were greeted at the door with a Hawaiian lei necklace and the sounds of the tropics. Over 90 were in attendance and several first time guests. Each Sunday following, we continued with the theme and had special gifts for everyone in attendance with the message of “I Love My Church” on them.

As mentioned in our last letter, we have been holding an extra class on Wednesday nights, before the Bible study, for those who wanted to go through our “7 Steps to Joy” discipleship materials. This class has been a tremendous help with establishing a solid foundation for our new Christians as well as for those who have been saved for any length of time.

Speaking of Wednesday nights, following one of the Bible studies, we were so blessed to talk with one of the children in our ministry about salvation. Rosie has been coming with her parents for almost a year now. Her parents got saved last May, baptized in September, and she too was ready to be saved. Praise the Lord!

Along with Rosie, the following Sunday, we were once again so excited to talk with another child in our ministry, whose parents got saved and baptized several months back as well. Jasmin has been coming with her family faithfully and she too wanted to receive Christ as her Saviour. Praise the Lord for the work He is doing in the families of our church.

As we wrap up this month’s letter, we wanted to give you an update regarding our “Indefinite Leave to Remain” VISAs. Like we shared in our last letter, in May we will be eligible to apply for this visa which will allow us to remain indefinitely in the UK. This is very much a milestone for our ministry and one we have been working diligently toward for the past five years. As mentioned before, this process is tedious and quite expensive. Currently we are studying and preparing for the test required as well as praying for the necessary funds needed to come in. We are so very grateful and cannot say thank you enough for the funds that have already been promised or have already been given. Please pray for us as we prepare for the test and for the additional $6,000.00 still needed to help pay for the VISAs.

Serving Christ Together,
Richie, Missy, Briton, and Isabella
