Our church family memory verse for this past month was Luke 1:37, “For with God nothing shall be impossible,” and the Lord has taught us this truth in a very miraculous May.
The month started off quite busy with a ladies retreat where we were encouraged to have another great group go this year. The time away together was a real blessing to the ladies in our church. As soon as the ladies returned from the retreat, we loaded up a bus full of youth and we met up with another church in Colwyn Bay for a Friday Youth Night.
Another blessing we experienced this past month was the dedication of three babies in the church. It was so exciting to have this special time in our service to help the people here appreciate and better understand the importance as well as the purpose for dedicating our children to God.
Along with these blessings, we have also been so excited to have a visit from our Sending Pastor, Dennis Jennings, along with his wife, Jana, and their oldest granddaughter, Melana. Their time with us has been so encouraging and up-lifting. It will be very hard to see them go.
Last but certainly not least, we also want to give you an update on our visa situation. Many of you are aware from our last letter of the urgent matter regarding our sponsor and the suspension of their license due to the recent changes made by the UK Visas and Immigration. Again, without going into all the details, the matter at hand was in need of a miracle of God and we are so overjoyed to share that “with God nothing shall be impossible!” The Lord guided us to an immigration lawyer who was willing to represent us and by the grace of God, at the end of last week; our family’s “Indefinite Leave to Remain” Visas were all successfully approved! Words will never be able to express just how thankful we are for every one of you who fervently prayed for us during this circumstance. Praise the Lord!
As we wrap up this month’s letter, we look ahead to July and our upcoming Junior/Senior Camp. It is looking to be the largest group we have had at our current venue and with the growth; we are praying to be able to provide for all the needs involved. Some of the needs include a large event tent to hold our Senior Camp services in, which is going to cost us around $2,000.00. Another need is for t-shirts, fireworks, and banners which is going to be another $2,000.00. Along with these needs, we are also working hard to help raise the funds needed to provide scholarships for camp, which is $250.00 per camper. Please pray for these needs as well as the weeks ahead as we work hard to get everything ready. Please also pray for many souls to be saved and for lives to be changed by the power and preaching of God’s Word.
Serving Christ Together,
Richie, Missy, Briton, and Isabella
