PRAY FOR THE VISITORS

Several people who were baptized had invited people to come on Easter Sunday. Three of these visitors attended church as a child or teenager and have not been faithful for many years. We had met one of the visitors (Marta) over 30 years ago. She was attending her fathers church. She has not attended church in several years. One of the visitors traveled one and a half hours to be in the service.

Please pray that these seven visitors will get back in church where God can speak to their hearts through His word. Some of these people have been carrying a heavy load for many years.

SPECIAL EASTER SERVICE

Easter Sunday is such a special service remembering our Lord’s resurrection. There is no better picture of the resurrection than baptism. There were eight who followed the Lord in believers baptism on Easter Sunday. Among those was our middle grandson, Xavier. After the baptisms everyone went inside and observed the Lord’s supper and sang.

The ministry in Uruguay requires a lot of patience. The people must first be invited. Their first visit is to see what we do and how they are received. Many come back several times and are under the Word of God. After a time some make a decision to receive Christ as their Savior. Some follow Him in baptism.

We mentioned Mario in a previous letter. He is the perfect example of having patience and letting God deal through His word. Prayer for Mario in Nov. of 2020. He made a profession of faith in 2022 and was baptized April 9, 2023.

Please pray for Glenna. She went to the ER, she was having difficulty walking. She had been in pain with her knee for two or three months. She has osteoarthritis in both the knee and hip.
