What's Here for Teens?

Our Teen Ministry is designed to help Jr. High and High School students begin and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We encourage the students to be involved in everything we do here at Cornerstone Baptist from outreach, serving, activities, and attending weekly services. Our prayer is that students will find the teaching and preaching to be biblical, practical, and applicable, and that students are able to experience and worship God in a real and authentic way in these foundational years.

FAQs

How Should I Dress?

There is not a dress code at Cornerstone Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Cornerstone Baptist!

How Long Are the Services?

Our services are typically a little over an hour in length.

Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?

No. We don’t invite you to Cornerstone Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a blessing to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

What Type of Music Do You Have?

Our music is based upon the truth that music was created to magnify God through our praise. You will find that we primarily have a hymn-based music program, rather than following the cultural trends of music.  We primarily use hymns not because we are “old-fashioned”, but because we desire to sing songs that cause us to think right thoughts about God.  Though we sing hymns, the traditional music at Cornerstone Baptist is alive and well.

Is Cornerstone Baptist Church a “KJV Only” Church?

It depends on what you mean… click here to learn more about our stance and our spirit on this important issue.
