The Twins have arrived! We are happy to announce that our twin baby boys, Asher Jacob and Jason Drayton were born on February 24th, 2023. We are so blessed and thankful that the boys had a safe and healthy delivery. Shay and I would also like to thank you all for all your prayers and would ask you to continue to pray for Shay’s recovery. So far she is recovering very well and enjoying the many blessings of motherhood.
My parents had to go back to the States to attend my younger sisters wedding and my father asked me to fill in at his church in his absence. It was a great time for the 2 folks attending our church to fellowship with other believers in the Faith. I’m glad we were able to help out and be a blessing to that work. We also had our Easter service at my father’s church and had great food, fellowship, music and preaching.
During the time we filled in for my father, we had to put our discipleship class on a short hold but last night we were able to start it back up. Last night we started with our fifth topic, “Devotions”. It’s wonderful to see these new believers grow in Christ and understand their Salvation/Faith in a deeper way. Please continue to pray for P. and K. as they both desire to follow the Lord in believers baptism. The river we use for our baptisms is a little cold this time of year, so we are going to wait
until the beginning of June to baptize them both. Pray that the Lord would comfort them and give them peace. I know they will be attacked from Satan in many areas. When you remove yourself from the “Catholic State Church Registry”, you give up a lot and suffer a lot of persecution from many angles. They love the Lord though, and want to follow and obey Him. They are such an encouragement and blessing to us in the ministry here.
Lastly, I would like to just thank every one of you for all of the special love offerings for our two boys. That was such a blessing to us and helps us out a lot with needed baby supplies. We appreciate your prayers and faithful financial support for our family and ministry.
Gottes Segen,
Jacob Shipman
