Dear Prayer Warriors:
As you know from our last prayer letter, we have two churches without pastors. We are ministering at the Idabel church, our son is filling in at Swink and a young single man, who is a Heartland BBC graduate, has also been helping us. But, PRAISE THE LORD, a young man is coming to candidate June 25th. He is married and has two small children. Pray the Lord’s will be done.
Another praise: we now have the funds through the tithes and offerings from the members at Swink, to replace the heat and air in the fellowship hall. Also, the ceilings in the Sunday School rooms (that caved in due to torrential rain) have been replaced. New roofs have been put on the church and the parsonage thanks to Westfair Baptist Church in Jacksonville, IL.
We have a new baby at the Idabel church. His name is Eli. His mom grew up in our church. Her grandparents are Bro. Benny and Resa. So, these babies are fourth generation members.
